Last year, Buick unveiled a new concept at the Beijing Auto Show. The Buick Enspire concept was a compact crossover with an electric powertrain. Buick described it as “an exploration of Buick’s bold design ideas and innovative technologies for future mobility.” Here is a look at some of the most innovative features in the Enspire.
With this technology, the Enspire can park itself, even without a driver at the wheel. The feature is not production-ready, but the technology can find an open parking spot and guide itself into the spot. Then, the owner can summon the Enspire and it will pull out of a parking spot and drive to the owner.
The Enspire comes with a smart LED grille that can communication with pedestrian, cyclists, and other vehicles using light patterns. This could be helpful to show pedestrians what the vehicle is going to do next.
Shock absorbing seats
Take a seat inside the Enspire and you may experience the most comfortable ride ever. Buick has designed innovative seats using a skeletal structure that is supposed to absorb any bumps and shocks that come up from the road.
Augmented reality HUD
The Enspire has a head-up display (HUD) that shows vital vehicle information, like navigation directions. However, it takes it further by highlighting the turns on the windshield.
