Halloween is a fun time of year for all ages. Spooky decorations, cool costumes, and yummy candy abound. However, some families of younger kids may want to partake in the seasonal festivities without the scares that often come with it. If you live local to the Jackson, Mississippi area and have a family that wants some scare-free Halloween fun, head to the Boo at the Zoo event at the Jackson Zoo.
The Boo at the Zoo 2017 event will take place the weekend of October 27th through 28th between 5pm and 8pm both nights. The event will feature Trick or Treating, as well as a live DJ, a costume parade, a family-friendly haunted house put on by the zookeepers themselves, various themed locations and exhibits in the zoo itself, tattoos, fortune-telling, and much more. There will even be activities and competitions kids and adults alike can participate in.
